Juwan and Ashleigh had their hearts set on a serene woods vibe for their engagement shoot, and The Big Red Barn in Pretoria turned out to be the ideal location. With its lush greenery and charming atmosphere, it provided the picturesque backdrop they desired. As the golden hour approached, we ventured into a small open field bathed in warm sunlight, creating a magical setting for their romantic photographs.
To add a touch of whimsy and personalization to the shoot, Ashleigh curated a dreamy blue-themed picnic. With her impeccable taste, she brought along a beautiful blanket, plush pillows, and even a blue Instax! The delightful picnic box, provided by Picnic-in-a-Box, overflowed with goodies that not only delighted the couple but also made for adorable and vibrant photos. Little did we know that the unexpected arrival of two mischievous Golden Retrievers passing by would add a hilarious twist to the day...
Amidst the laughter and joy, an amusing incident unfolded when Ashleigh brought a delightful French loaf for the picnic. As luck would have it, the two friendly Golden Retrievers couldn't resist the temptation and took a big lick of the loaf, rendering it inedible. Although it left the couple and us in laughter, it added an unexpected and unforgettable element to their shoot, reminding us that the best moments are often the unplanned ones.
Juwan and Ashleigh radiated a genuine and captivating love for each other throughout the shoot. What struck us most were the small, intimate moments they shared, where their love shone brightly.
